Palm Warbler

The Jamaican Palm Warbler is a small, migratory songbird that breeds in northern North America and spends its winters in the Caribbean, including Jamaica. This warbler is typically found in open areas, such as fields and meadows, and feeds on insects and seeds. It has a brownish-yellow back with streaks of black and a yellowish breast and belly. During breeding season, males have a chestnut cap, while females have a brown cap. They are known for their distinctive tail-wagging behavior and high-pitched, trilling song.
