Turkey Vulture

The Turkey Vulture, also known as the John Crow in Jamaica, is a large bird of prey that is commonly found throughout the Americas. It has a wingspan of up to 6 feet and is easily identified by its featherless red head and blackish-brown plumage. Turkey Vultures are scavengers and feed primarily on carrion, using their keen sense of smell to locate food from great distances.
